The Municipality of Bologna has created a public wireless access point at the Iperbole-Internet Service to experiment the Wi-Fi technology and offer an innovative Internet access to the users.

IOffered by HERA Spa, the Hot Spot WiFi Iperbole/URP service is provided for free and guarantees the simultaneous coverage of almost 30 laptops.

The service is part of the «Iperbole Wireless» project that is giving - in partnership with telcos - free access to the internet covering a city center wide area.

The interested zones are:

Into a range of about 150 metres nearby the Office for the Relation with Citizens (URP) - Iperbole-Internet Service, located in Palazzo d’Accursio – Piazza Maggiore.
