ReUrbanMobil - Mobilising re-urbanisation on condition of demographic change (PDf, 127 kb)
The project, coordinated by SINTEF (Norwegian institute for international research) and partnered by the Bologna Municipality, aims at carrying out research activities based on V2V technologies, so as to develop new software solutions for advanced simulation platforms to a more efficient urban mobility management.
The new technologies developed by iTETRIS are expected to have a remarkable impact on urban mobility as regards traffic congestion.

Duration: 30 months
The project, coordinated by SINTEF (Norwegian institute for international research) and partnered by the Bologna Municipality, aims at developing a rationalization process of freight transport in the urban centres, through the use of the most advanced ICT technologies.
To this purpose, a new ICT based platform will be developed to monitor every single vehicle providing goods’ deliveries within the urban area, and subsequently to make it possible to rationalize the freight distribution on a local scale.
