The project, coordinated by EUROCITIES, has the primary objective to create a network of local Observatories, led by European Municipalities (for Italy, the Municipality of Bologna by means of the Institution for Social and Community Inclusion “don Paolo Serra Zanetti”), to study and promote the role of quality in providing social services at a public level.
The network aims at monitoring and analyzing the implementation, at the local level, of the common strategy on active inclusion decided by the European Commission, in particular for what regards the access to social services, housing and job opportunities.

he objective of the project, coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna, is to strengthen the local governance of the actions aiming at preventing gender-based violence and at providing integrated assistance to the victims. The project also aims at enhancing an inter-organisational process among institutional and private subjects working in the social field, as well as improving their power of intervention through training activities, networking and observatories.

The project, coordinated by the Recreational Association for Culture and Development (ARCS) of the Emilia Romagna Region and with the partnership of Bologna Municipality and of the Early Childhood Resource Center of Jerusalem, aims at improving the Palestinian children’s quality of life by providing teachers and parents with new abilities.
The enhancement of the Jerusalem education center will bring positive effects all over the Jerusalem and West Bank area, in particular on the civil society, in a war context such as the Palestinian one.

Minors - Unaccompanied asylum seeking children (PDF, 148 kb)
The project’s aim is to investigate the viability of, and create the conditions for, new strategies addressed to men who use violence against women in their interpersonal relations. This issue will be dealt with in countries like Italy and Greece, where the attention and public debates are poor about this, and in Spain, where the discussion is hindered from many parts. The project will investigate about the existing resistance to the issue and the possible interpretation keys.

The project, coordinated by the ARCI Solidarity of Reggio Emilia (IT), stems from an experience promoted by the City of Salvador Bahia (BR) called Salvador Graffita and is meant to maintain continuity with the previous project Adotta un Ritmo, in partnership with Brazilian associations. Considering any form of art a flywheel for pathways of job and social inclusion, Oficina de Rua aims at involving a group of disadvantaged teenagers and minors in training courses and street workshops based on art, in accordance with the local policy, so as to reduce the damage of social exclusion for the risky categories in the urban and suburban areas.

The project, coordinated by ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and the Environment), aims at improving the quality of life of elderly people and their families, thanks to the definition an testing new low-cost and easy-to-use technological platform that will provide tele-assistance, tele-company, tele-medicine services to a large number of users.
The Bologna Municipality, designer of the initiative on which the project was built, will be in charge for the first tests, which will involve 100 Bolognese elderly people, and for the following steps: defining the requirements and reporting the results. The second tests will be carried out in the Czech Republic, on a group of diabetic patients.
