Adotta un Ritmo – Dialogue between Cities on social inclusion

The project, coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna, had started from the fact that the Brazilian population has a strong relationship with music and dance, and from the knowledge that any art form is an efficient means of self expression. People who have themselves experienced marginalisation and violence were assisted to redirect their lives and receive training, so as to give, in turn, support to others who are going through similar experiences. The training programmes included various activities such as art workshops and informal education for Brazilian and Italian street educators and social workers.
The main objective was the identification and diffusion of a model of sustainable intervention for the social inclusion of minors at risk of marginalisation in the project’s target area.

CulTuRe II

The project, coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna, aimed at improving the cultural resources of the city of Tuzla, in particular through the promotion of tourism in Tuzla and Bologna, based on the intervention model developed by projects CulTuRe and CulTuRe II respectively.
By means of various training activities and courses, the tourist operators involved were able to enhance their abilities and a new educational tourist-route in Tuzla was developed.
Among the major results: the first edition of the International Youth Festival of cinema/music/visual art in Tuzla and a new network of young artists between Bologna and Tuzla on the subject of intercultural dialogue.
