Giuliana Fugazzotto carried out her musical studies at the Music Academy in Messina, where she got her title with full marks cum laude. Later she specialized in the piano under the supervision of Maestro Antonio Trombone and Maestro Michele Marvulli and in chamber music under the supervision of Sonia Pahor and Bruno Canino. Playing in duo she got prizes at the the Musical Competition in Pompei and Stresa and the 1st prize at the International Competition in Enna.
Beside the performance activity she dedicates also to ethnomusicology research, collaborating with the Universities of Bologna and Ravenna and editing records and CD on the traditional music of Sicily, for the labels Albatros and Ethnica.

    Ms. Fugazzotto has been teaching the piano in Bologna for several years; she also founded, together with C. Bertoli and E. Piccini, the Orchestra Primavera, where she conducts the piano and the percussions.
