Typical of this Association is the annual award to members, consisting of a fountaín pen with an 18 Kt gold nib, created exclusively for members by the Company founded by Cav. Simoni and manufactured with highest artisanal criteria in the OMAS tradition of quality. This pen can not be bought but can only be obtained by joining the Club.
Subscriptions and renewals may be made immediately by using the form on our website.
For the first year of subscription you will receive the twelve faceted orange fountain pen (Simoni's patent) pictured below. It will be engraved with your card number.
For successive renewals, each year (or group of years) we offer a new exclusive pen.
The new pen for the 2005-7 renewals (three years) is designed by Mr. Gianluca Malaguti for our association.
It is a very interesting model, for the following reasons:
- it has the new extra-flex 14 M (585) nib which has for a long time been requested by our members, and a delight for those passionate about writing. The nibs are EF, F, M, B, the member's choice, of course
- it is in celluloid, the same semi-transparent material used for the very prestigious Omas series dedicated to Armando Simoni
- it is a big round ogival model, with the traditional clip very typical of this shape
The pen requires a tri-annual renewal, for a total of € 675.00 plus s/h. Shipping will be about four months after the receipt of each order of renewals. Orders can begin since now.
For the 2002-2003-2004 years (tri-annual renewal) a very special full celluloid fountain pen was dedicated to our loyal members; the material being the rare harlequin celluloid invented by Armando Simoni in the 30's, the same used for the Omas Arlecchino pen. The model is still available for the new members.
In 2001, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Club, a 360 model in the exclusive color of the Club, using an OMAS 75th anniversary nib, was produced in a very limited edition. This model is still available for the new members.
In the years 1998-2000 we developed a triennial renewal program, planned in thís way: three different fountain pens with Cav. Simoni's original exclusive guilloche designs of the '20s in black, orange red and ivory.
Those who renewed for 3 years in advance also received a mechanical pencil (lead 0,7) in black resin to match the first fountain pen. Available now is only the black mechanical pencil (lead 0,7).
For the past, after the famous yellow Ferrari roller, up to the 1997 renewal, we have awarded our members with a series of pens from different models, officially authorized by the EEC, in the Europa blue color (the big round model is shown).
New members could have the available models from previous years as anticipated renewals.
