RIEPPS - Research and innovation of educational practices in children's services

Among the reflections generated by the years of the pandemic, the need to adapt childcare services to new emerging needs has emerged in the educational field. An innovation process, both of the tools and of the skills of the staff in the educational field, would be desirable.

One of the objectives of the Erasmus + RIEPPS project is to make job shadowing a good educational practice by working on the development of cultural exchanges, twinning and international mobility of educators, teachers, collaborators and pedagogical management and coordination staff. Furthermore, the project aims to invest in the valorisation of internationalization, focusing on the linguistic improvement of all the profiles involved and the training of coordination staff skills.

Project activities include the mobility of educators and teachers to two Swedish educational institutions with the aim of innovating and implementing tools to build inclusive educational contexts. This process will directly involve some representatives of 0-6 Services, who will subsequently be invited to compare the experiences of the "before and after" job shadowing activities. Finally, a monitoring group will welcome an educationalist from the Swedish territory to share the results of the training project with all the city staff.

There will also be two courses for the management and pedagogical coordination team, with the aim of reinforcing English language and project management skills.

Results are therefore expected on the development and strengthening of the quality of the educational and scholastic offer, which will make it possible to influence the creation of inclusive services "tailored to each child" mainly with regard to the structuring of spaces, materials and time, but also of the role of the adult, of the organizational model, of the teaching proposals, of the communication and documentation of the learning processes.
