Bologna presented the SPINE project to local public transport operators

On September 14th, the Bologna SPINE team met the main stakeholders of the Living Lab, i.e. local transport operators and institutions, for the official kick-off of the local SPINE actions. The meeting was jointly organised by the local project partners City of Bologna and SRM Società Reti e Mobilità.

The event aimed to actively involve the stakeholders in the local SPINE activities: it was a crucial moment for the Bologna Living Lab to start building synergies with all important actors which will contribute to the development of the solutions and to guarantee the impact of local SPINE actions.

During the event, the Bologna team presented the project and its general framework and objectives, and  detailed the solutions that will be implemented locally.

31 participants from 17 different organisations dealing with mobility actively participated and explored the potential of the Bologna SPINE solutions; local transport operators, sharing mobility services, as well as institutional bodies showed their interest, shared their views, resources and possible issues, feeding the discussion with important inputs.

As a follow-up to the meeting, the Bologna SPINE team is elaborating a technical document that will be shared with the participants to start collecting and elaborating essential technical elements for the development of the SPINE solutions in Bologna. Furthermore, specific workshops will be organised when necessary for advancing in the building up and implementation of the different solutions.

The SPINE project is funded by the European research and innovation program Horizon Europe, contract no. 101096664.
