"A cappella", Leipzig vocal contest 2018
As integrating part of the International A Cappella Festival, taking place in Lepizig, Germany, from 4th to 12th May 2018, the German city twinned to Bologna launched the related contest for young vocal ensembles. The A CAPPELLA Competition will take place from May 9-12.
During the 10 days of the Festival, Lepizig will offer a number of concerts, with artists from all over the world, to create an extraordinary music exchange between young vocal ensembles and “a cappella” professionals.
Bologna, UENSCO Creative City for Music, surely holds the potential to take part in this important event, so all the groups of young a cappella singers have been invited to apply. The contest will award prizes upto 4500 Euros. The deadline apply is the 20th of January 2018.
