Happy Hour and Urban Sustainability: Portland meets Bologna
On Tuesday 21st February, at 6 p.m., Caffè Umbria in Portland is hosting a special Happy Hour with Gabriele Manella, a professor from the Universitiy of Bologna who is currently spending a period of research and study in the US, at the Portland State University, to learn more about about Portland's approach to urban sustainability and local participation.
Professor Manella will be available for an informal conversation about urban sustainability issues in Portland and Bologna, offering many hints and good practices on sustainable developmnet strategies and local communities as part of the process.
The event is organized by PBSCA, the Portland-Bologna Sister City Association, the non-profit organization which has always been very active in promoting the strong ties between Portland, Oregon and Bologna, Italy, ever since their twinning agreement, signed back in 2004.
