The park was created in the Villa Spada property. This beautiful villa was built in the Neoclassical Style at the beginning of the 19th century by the architect Marco Masini on behalf of Clemente Spada. It offers an amazing view of the hills surrounding Bologna. The park, open to the public since 1970, is characterized by an Italian terraced garden with both wild and rare plants from all over the world.
