The library is located in the Navile city quarter. It holds 30.000 volumes, 5.000 of which are for kids, including 500 videos, DVDs, CDs, CD-ROMs, interactive language courses and books in foreign languages. The library is specialized on local history and holds many texts for university students, due also to the acquisition of the Ex Acostud fund, which included 4.500 volumes.
The library organizes several activities, especially with schools, ranging from kindergarten to high school.
