The library is specialized on artistic studies and research. It holds 30.000 books about cinema; 5.000 volumes about theatre, TV, modern art, graphics, music, comics, and film culture in general; 1.350 journals (to 500 of which the subscription is still active); 40.000 original film posters; 100 microfilms of reviews and of all the related catalogues. Thirty-two reading seats and consultation rooms are also available in the library.
