Giosue Carducci lived in this house from 1890 until his death (1907). The monument to the poet, sculpted by Leonardo Bistolfi (1928), can still be admired in the garden. It is also possible to visit the rich library that holds more than 50,000 printed volumes, autograph and manuscripts collections, letters and correspondence, photographs, postcards, parchments, incunabula and codex collected by the poet.
