Established in 2001, the foundation continues the 20-years activity experience of the Villa Ghigi Centre. Its main activities concern environmental education while a great effort is made in landscape planning, analysis and public diffusion of knowledge about the territory of Bologna and the Emila-Romagna Region (with specific regard to natural and historic aspects). A group of specialized operators works almost exclusively with schools, planning and managing the work with the teachers, finding and processing the material for the activities, and organizing the documentation concerning the experiences carried out. Besides having a specific vocational training, operators share a common passion for this work.
