The Marilena Ferrari Foundation, also known as FMR Officina (Workshop), is located inside the picturesque Bovi-Tacconi building complex, originally belonging to the Beccadelli family and presently situated between civic numbers 13 and 19 of Via Santo Stefano. At number 15, a palace of the 15th century and a refined renaissance building, reflecting the aesthetic of Biagio Rossetti, are placed one next to the other. At number 17, is a masterpiece of late Gothic Architecture, a palace originally built in 1420, as proved by the seal of Bernardino da Milano located in the arch lintels of the portico in the front. The restructuring of the building's façade has been attributed to Fioravante Fioravanti. Roman grave stones referring to the Gens Bovia are placed in the courtyard; halls decorated by paintings of Vittorio Maria Bigari (1692-1776) are located in the ground floor.
